Long Term Care Guild

Sharing information from one LTC Guild to another

In reading some of the posts on this site it sounds like there is a lot of information that could benefit others.

The Seattle Guild has been meeting since 2007. We've developed a short but informative summary of the topics that have made up our monthly agenda. Up until now sharing that information with interested parties was elusive, but now we can post it on a blog for all to view.

If you would be interested in incorporating your educational segments into a similar format we could then create a library of topics.

Let us know your thoughts on this proposed Library.

In speaking with Dick, it appears the forums and the blogs are the best way to share information on this site. My opinion this informaiton is open to all. My hope is to impact the industry not just my personal business. The more we understand the clients we serve the more effective we can be.

I was hoping to agree on some kind of format to summarize the speakers/information that we glean in any guild. Pure education with no more than 5 bullet points. This will allow folks to quickly check out the information, If they want more information they can ask for it, or we could post it elsewhere.
I tried to set up such a format regarding Hospice and Reverse Mortgages.

It would be easy to identify this education segment by giving it a title.

I'm wide open to any suggestions of getting started. I imagine the intent is to include all players, including competitors, right?

I think that is a great idea! Where do we start?
