Mr. Pearson is a recognized leader in the field of care planning, long-term care, eldercare, wellness and work-place productivity issues. He is the founder and CEO of CareQuest, Inc., and NavGate Technologies, a division of CareQuest. In 1986 Mr. Pearson created the Silver Claims System which assisted thousands of Medicare Beneficiaries with claim filings. In 1987 he created Data Corp which gathered and maintained information about care providers throughout the United States, those efforts continue today. Mr. Pearson founded CareQuest in 1991 to develop both care planning advanced education programs for professional advisors, and care assistance programs for consumers. In 2001, NavGate Technologies was created and Mr. Pearson began designing CareOptions OnLine (COOL), and in 2007 he designed CareOptions Analytics Program (CAP). CAP and COOL are now the focus of Mr. Pearson’s energy. His work with the Health Care Finance Administration in the mid-80s was instrumental in the development of initiatives to educate Medicare beneficiaries regarding new Medicare reimbursement methods and TEFRA Risk Contracted HMO’s. He developed a comprehensive care planning solution and wellness education program offered through large employer groups. Mr. Pearson is the author of two educational texts, several Care Solution Guide books, and has published numerous articles and reports dealing with short-term disability, long-term care planning and the impact that elder issues have in the workplace. His unique concepts, studies and reports have been reported in Business Week Magazine, The Washington Post, Kiplinger Financial Review, US News and World Report, The National Underwriter, Compensation & Benefits Review, Employee Benefit News, Advisor Today, and many local and national newspaper services.
