June 2014 Dear Friends, As we age, having a funded plan in place prior to any disabling impairment allows loving family members to monitor the care delivered to you by licensed professionals and not become care-givers themselves. Pardon my bluntness…Continue

Biography
After graduating college, Jack enlisted in the US Marine
Corps with a goal of becoming a Marine Aviator.
Graduating first in his class from Navy Flight School, he
trained to become a search and rescue pilot and
subsequently participated in actual rescues of downed
airmen.
Having purchased a Long Term Care policy to protect his
own family in 1999, Jack decided to specialize his
professional practice in this area in 2009 given the large
number of families that need similar protection.
Jack has seen firsthand what happened to a member of
his own family due to a lack of adequate planning for long term care. When it was no longer possible for his wife’s mom to stay at home, the four siblings made decisions about which assets to liquidate to provide adequate funds to provide professional care for her in a skilled nursing facility.
Jack listens carefully to his clients and repeatedly hears a
desire to retain independence and a desire not to be a
burden on ones’ families. He recognizes that people must plan in advance while they are still healthy enough to pass the often-strict LTC underwriting. Long Term Care insurance provides comfortable assurance that a severe financial and emotion burden is not placed on the family by a LTC event.
Jack resides with his wife Debby in a picturesque Puget
Sound neighborhood perched at the edge of a quixotically-named inlet known as Poverty Bay.
Yes, we eat our own cooking: our family has owned a comprehensive LTC policy for 15 years!

Keeping families whole and intact

The data is undeniable about the many long term care (LTC) risks facing our aging American population. But data alone is not why families decide to purchase LTC protection. Families purchase LTC protection because this is what leaders do: secure leverage to pay for potentially unwelcome consequences in order to keep their family intact. LTC insurance provides significant leverage in times of need. LTC insurance policies save relationships and keep families whole.
